I went to Vermont Physcial Therapy back in 2020 and 2021. It was my first experience with physical therapy and it was my best experience. I have a chronic health condition called hEDS and I wasn't diagnosed yet when I went to this practice, but their bright minds helped point me in the right direction. I went in for TOS and they did a whole body approach to help me. They didn't isolate just one issue and ignore the rest of my body like my other physical therapists have. I only stopped because I moved out of state, and I wish I could go back!

I see Chad Rainey at VT Physical Therapy and he uses an innovative approach in his treatment called Postural Restoration. My experience is that while attending to the injured area, attention is also given to surrounding areas that may be affected. In addition, I have found that the help I’ve received on relearning to breathe correctly not only supports healing from an injury but also general health and well being. Their office staff is wonderfully warm and efficient - it is always a pleasure to go there knowing I’ll be well cared for.

The whole staff is wonderful, kind, and helpful. In particular, I am so grateful to Chad for his extreme knowledge, patience, professionalism, and compassion. If you are in pain, and/or need to learn how to bring your body back to its natural state of alignment and ease, Chad is the person to guide you through the steps. He is a miracle worker! I highly recommend Vermont Physical Therapy!

Emily Decker is a skilled practitioner of PT, clearly able to explain the physiology of a problem while being able to suggest a variety of exercises to deal with the pain and restricted mobility. Her compassion and empathy make sessions with her to be a very healing experience. Absolutely top notch!

I very much enjoyed my experience as a patient here, the staff I met was all very warm and friendly and the practitioners extremely knowledgeable and confident in their craft. They got me up and running again! I would definitely recommend anyone to this clinic and would gladly seek use of their services again, should the need arise!

Vermont Physical Therapy has been very helpful. On my first visit they immediately pinpointed areas that were causing my issues. I've noticed many differences in how I feel after a couple weeks from my first appointment. They're very accommodating with my schedule and provide a very helpful and relaxed atmosphere. I would highly recommend them!

I have been a patient of Emily Decker's for the past three years, before and now after two knee replacements. She has been instrumental in helping me prepare for and now recover from these surgeries. She is empathetic, observant and considers the the full body system. I highly recommend both Emily and the Postural Restoration method.

Noah is a fantastic physical therapist! I went in with a shoulder issue that has been bothering me for almost a decade. He quickly diagnosed the issue (which my previous PT had not) and was able to improve my mobility dramatically in one session. After another couple sessions and plenty of innovative exercises to do at home, I am doing remarkably better.

The staff at Vermont Physical Therapy are great! I've had a couple of injuries and they've gotten me back to long distance running quickly. I worked with Birgit and she took the time to really understood the goals I was working toward with running and helped me develop a better understanding of my form and muscle imbalances that were leading to repetitive injuries. Thanks to the entire team at VT PT - you all are wonderful!

Very knowledgeable, professional, and effective at treating my lower back strain. The more I use the progressive exercises that were tailored to my ability and injury the better it feels. I went to the Montpelier office.
